The prerequisites for registering as a CA are Membership Number and Enrollment Date. Your PAN should be registered on the e-Filing portal and a valid and active DSC should be registered with the specified PAN.

Yes, you need a DSC to register as a CA. If your DSC is not registered, you need to first register it on the e-Filing portal.
