Your refunds determined for one or more AYs pending for the following reason:
For issue of refund there has to be a Validated Indian Bank account. As per records in your case, on the date of issue of refund, there was no Validated Bank account. However, later Tax payer has provided a Valid Bank account and the same was Validated successfully. However, as per the automated process, Tax payer is expected to raise a Refund reissue request in E Filing portal, which is pending as on date. Due to this reason, the refund for above AY could not be issued.
Hence, Tax payer is requested to follow the following steps:
i. Login to E-Filing portal and Initiate refund reissue request for this AY in Services Tab ->Refund reissue -> Create Reissue.
Note:
1. In case of Refunds more than Rs. 50 cr, please provide updated Legal Entity Identifier(LEI) Number in eportal.incometax.gov.in> Service>LEI, before initiating the refund reissue request.
2. Please note that once the re-issue request is submitted, the same will take 7 - 10 days for credit of Refund
