Certificate of Appreciation - FAQ

1. My PAN has become Inoperative or not linked with the Aadhaar, Can I be issued the Certificate of Appreciation?

No new certificates will be issued to Taxpayer after 30-Jun-2023, until the PAN is linked with Aadhaar. All the pending certificates that have not been issued (or kept on hold) will be generated after the PAN has been successfully linked with Aadhaar.

2. My PAN has become Inoperative or not linked with the Aadhaar Can I see already generated Certificate of Appreciation?

Yes, Taxpayer can see the certificate of appreciation generated before 30-Jun-2023. However, no new certificate of appreciation will be generated after 30-June-2023 until the PAN is operative or Link with the Aadhaar.
